MedTech Week 2018 Highlights

MedTech Week puts the spotlight on the people and technologies that are changing European healthcare. The key to its success is diversity: in 2018, 126 activities took place in 20 countries, involving 50 MedTech Europe members and 16 external partners. This is a double-digit increase on the previous year.

This annual medtech celebration offers a chance to address major issues in medical technology: Antimicrobial resistance, digital healthcare, EU research, the value of diagnostics and the Code of Business Ethics.

It is also an opportunity to hear a wide range of voices shaping the health systems of tomorrow. A total of 26 Perspectives articles were published and shared, authored by patients and healthcare professionals on the role of medical technologies in the future of healthcare.

European MedTech Week inspires media coverage in Brussels and across Europe, through traditional broadcast and print media, along with strong engagement on social media.

The impact grows every year – 2019 promises to be the biggest yet!
