SNITEM - Innovative medtech startup day

Snitem, the French Association of Medtech Manufacturers, will organise the fourth edition of the Innovative Medical Devices Start-Up Day themed ‘Overcoming the Barriers to Success’ in the context of MedTech Week on June 6th. The event will be attended by Fédérique Vidal, Minister of Education, Research and Innovation, and Delphine Geny-Stephann, Secretary of State to the Minister of Finance. Industry experts, politicians, and start-ups are invited to discover and present new innovations. During the day, several start-ups will be given the opportunity to pitch their ideas to industry stakeholders. On June 12th, Snitem will be present at an aneurysm operation at the Rothschild Foundation Medical Centre in Paris and speak about the importance of medical technology with the centre’s head of department, Olivier Gout. Snitem will then visit a factory of one of its members, Balt Extrusion, to discuss innovations in neuroradiology. Several journalists from different outlets will be invited to travel along to cover the story. Snitem aims to highlight the role of medical technology in cases of aneurysms and strokes.
