SYMPOSIUM ON THE PREVENTION HOSPITAL-ACQUIRED INFECTIONS AND CATHETER-RELATED BLOODSTREAM INFECTIONS

Every intravenous (I.V.) site presents the potential for blood stream infection. These preventable infections are still responsible for significant morbidity, mortality and excess costs. During the International Consortium for Prevention & Infection Control (ICPIC) Integrated Symposium on Friday, 23 June at 9 a.m., European clinicians will present their views on modern approaches to reduce catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSI) in line with the latest guidelines. Successful CRBSI prevention practices rely on dedicated clinicians using proven technology in alignment with best practice standards. 3M Science has led to unique innovations providing clinicians with specific medical technologies to protect every I.V. catheter—from insertion to removal.

Come along and learn about the current guidelines and state of the art solutions to reduce the risk of CRBSI.
