Edwards Lifesciences will be running a social media campaign themed #DrivenByPatients during MedTech Week 2018. The company’s commitment to bettering the lives of patients will be emphasised and shown through cooperation with patients and associations in eight European countries.
Edwards Lifesciences is working together with ABHI, the Association of British Healthcare Industries, to write a piece around transcatheter aortic valve implantations, a life-saving procedure. A hospital will be visited in which these procedures are carried out, to find out what both patient’s and HCP’s experiences are.
In Germany, Edwards Lifesciences will meet with political stakeholders and organise a hospital visit to show the value of transcatheter aortic valve implantations, and discuss the current state of the medtech industry. Other activities will be carried out in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Ireland, and the Czech Republic.
